Indeterminate, regular leaf plants produce 7-1 oz., beautiful small, oval, gold fruit marbled with pink stripes on the inside and out. A sweet and fruity tomato. Resists cracking; well suited to field or greenhouse culture. Another excellent Artisan™ variety. Mid season variety(75-85 days). Indeterminate, regular leaf plants. Beautiful small fruits, oval and a bit pointy, yellow, with pink stripes. Firm skin. The first fruit tasted somewhat grassy, but taste improved a lot later in the season and became excellent and sweet. Recent variety from the line of "Bumblebee", bred by Fred Hempel, Baia Nicchia Farm, with Artisan Seeds. Cherry-like fruit, 20 to 25 grams, slightly pointed ovoid. Orange-yellow color with pinkish-red marbling. Juicy flesh, orange also marbled with red, sweet and tangy flavor. Plant with moderate development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth. Excellent and regular production from mid-season until frost. Sunrise Bumblebee has been on my best tasting list of cherries for a long time. These remind me of a tropical fruit. Shorter vines produce abundantly from early summer until frost. What’s more, they have excellent disease resistance and refuse to be stopped. As a side note, the Bumblebee selection all work well as main crops, especially for vendors at the farmer’s market. Perfect little cherry.
