We are now producing an assortment of beautiful olive egg layers. We are using Marans, Welsummers, Crested Cream Legbars and Easter Eggers in our mix. Though they may all look different, our Olive Eggers will lay an olive-shade egg from lighter olive to very dark "army green." *With our F1 (first generation) Olive Eggers, there was a 1/16 chance that your Olive Egger will not lay an olive colored egg. Our 2nd and 3rd generations will be slightly darker with each generation! Best of all, the parent stock are friendly, easy-going breeds, so your Olive Egger is likely to be a family favorite!
They mature at 18 weeks and produce 225-275 various colored eggs per year.
Laying/Almost Laying age birds typically need to be grown out and may take as long as 4 months before they are ready for you to pick up. Please feel free to contact us for what other ages we may have available.
