Cream Legbars are friendly, easily handled, good layers, and one of the most highly sought after--and rarest--breeds in this country. You've been clamoring for them, and they're finally here! Cream Legbar eggs are a beautiful blue, ranging from true sky blue to light turquoise. Legbars are wonderful foragers and love to be outside. They do well avoiding predators in a free range environment, although they can easily adapt to small yards and runs, as well. Finally, Cream Legbars are fun looking, with unusual little crests tucked behind floppy combs, looking something like they're wearing berets accented with flowers--very cool! Cream Legbars are also "autosexing," which means the males and females look different enough when they hatch that they can be differentiated with 90-100% certainty by anyone that knows what to look for!
They start laying around 18 weeks and will lay 200-250 blue colored eggs.
