These juveniles will be 6-12 weeks old and are ready to go straight into the coop.
We describe Bantam Cochins as cowboy chickens. They have heavily feathered feet making them look like they are wearing a pair of chaps when they run! We absolutely love them! They are consistent layers when they aren't broody but would much prefer to be raising babies. We had a hen that was a permanent resident in our grow out pen with 200+ juveniles to break up fights and teach them the ropes of living outside. They have great personalities and are particularly friendly, even the roosters!
They mature at 32 weeks and produce 75-100 small white eggs per year.
