Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (Unsexed-Still Need Heat)
These chicks will be 1-5 weeks old and will still need access to some sort of heat source to warm up until they are fully feathered.
Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are the sparkling diamond in the chicken world. Highly sought after for its unique color pattern. Blue Laced Reds have various shades red/mahogany feathered laced/outlined with a beautiful blue/gray color. This color pattern is extremely striking. Must have eye candy! (We breed Blue, Black and Splash Laced Reds here on the farm to get better quality birds than commercial hatcheries offer so they are sold as unsexed only.)
The Wyandotte is a dual-purpose breed, raised both for eggs and for meat. Wyandottes are a favorite among backyard flock owners for their dependable egg laying, easygoing nature, hardiness, and the great variety of beautiful feather patterns available.
They mature moderately rapidly, and will start laying around 20 weeks producing 225-250 light brown eggs with white spots per year.
