These chicks will be 1-5 weeks old and will still need access to some sort of heat source to warm up until they are fully feathered.
Gold Laced Wyandottes have golden feathers that are each laced/lined in a deep black. The lacing will become more uniform and complete with each molt. The Gold Laced Wyandottes are our most popular variety of all of the breeds that we carry!
The Wyandotte is a dual-purpose breed, raised both for eggs and for meat. Wyandottes are a favorite among backyard flock owners for their dependable egg laying, easygoing nature, hardiness, and the great variety of beautiful feather patterns available.
They mature moderately rapidly, and will start laying around 28 weeks producing 225-250 light brown eggs per year.
